Xerox art

 So this week we have been doing something i have never done before it is called xerox art it is a way of creating pictures using the scanner with different objects you can place on the glass pate.

I had a go at doing it my self, this was actually surprisingly fun i had used a range of objects to use. 

My first attempt at this i used a magazine a pen a shells and a pencil and a rubber i placed these on as the light was moving and then took it of to give the effect it disappeared as it moved down. I then changed the colour of this into black and white to then get it creating a different effect what looked very ghost like. What i also liked a bout this one being in black and white is that it changes the mood to very dreary and lonely what i think made it feel even cooler.

I then went on to have  another go also in black and white it looked so much like an mri scan it was so strange but i loved it. The objects i used to do this were a dried pomegranate it was very dry and looked strange but i placed it on the glass plate then turned  on the scanner. How i got multiple of them as the light paced the fruit i would then move it as fast as i to then make the next one, it was actually surprisingly hard when you are waiting for line to pass then move it as quick as you can. Despite that this was a fun experiment to do as i was not something many people should think to do on the scanner of there printer.
