Photo editing and manipulation

In todays society photo editing is a very easy thing to do now with so many app’s softwares out there, this allows pretty much any one to get hold of it from normal people to celebrities. But is it a good thing that we are now able to edit what we post creating a more idealistic content of all the world to see there are many sides to this and I’m going to cover a few with you today what i feel are most relatable.

As we know there are a few celebs that are quite familiar with photo editing and manipulating, but there are two in particular Kim Kardashian Kylie Jenner they have been called out multiple times for photo editing body modifying in there Instagram and other social platforms. But why do they continue to do this, and i have gone and looked into what Kim has stated before when she was called out for this. She has had many but this was the worst she had gotten a huge back lash from this post the other year of her last Christmas card of norths face edited in. She told people “it was not because of any other reason-but she was in a mood and didn’t want a family picture she waned one with me so we took the image of her face and put it into the card” “i had anxiety over this photo” as some one looking at this it showed that she could want to show a cute family that was always perfect and that life is good but people thought she should of left it as it made the family more relatable as people if it wasn't a perfect shot.

Many believe Kim Kardashian should stop her editing as she has such a big platform and show the more realistic look of  her body and help young people to get a more realistic role model. If she was to do this it would really help the body positivity movement. Instead this shows a much more of a self continuous adult that feels the need to edit and modify her pictures to make her feel younger and better but then gives the idea that every one should edit photos.

But as the years has gone on she has told “i try to show my self as much as possible with no make up natural because I don’t always look like that i to have lazy days were is it in my sweats and eat ice cream, who doesn’t.” I also think what she has done recently with her platform creating her shape wear line skims and promoting it to all body types and admitted that she wears it all the time as it builds confidence is helping people see her in a better light not just a woman on the internet and she wants to create a better stigma around wearing shape ware and that it isn’t a thing women use to hide behind it is a normal thing that we are allowed to do and she tells people that she is body conscious and that was why she used to edit her pictures so much more than now as she is trying to embrace her self. And she has stoped telling people that she is all natural she has had Botox fillers and hair removal and i think telling people that makes her more human.

Kylie Jenner has had a dramatic change over the years and she has had all the criticism from every one, this mostly started with the lip fillers and how she claimed for a while that it was natural and it was a lip kit that gave her those lips but now she admitted that they were not her natural lips everyone still finds thing to dig at, and a big part of this is her botched photo shops and the one many have seen is this one of her and Stacie her best friend on an out door lounger and some how they had curving cushions this was spotted by her fans very fast when this was posted and she didn’t address this this is shown that she was trying to make her waist smaller and that she was obviously doing to make her look more how a woman should look in society’s eyes small waist big boobs and bum but then this is a similar think to Kim wear people wanted her to use her platform for more good and show that you don’t need to edit photos to look good.

I think this is probable as she is in the public eye she is some one that has to keep up her appearance and that she needs to look good but this isn’t necessarily what is she needs to be doing and she should think of ways to promote body positivity.
